THIS IS A FAILED LEACH FIELD REPAIR. THE EXISTING FIELD WAS SATURATED AND THE HOMEOWNER CALLED US TO REPLACE. WE DESIGNED A SIMPLE GRAVITY FED CHAMBERED SYSTEM, USING 3 TRENCHES APPROX 80′ LONG. WE ADDED A ‘DIVERTER’ VALVE SO THE OLD SYSTEM COULD BE USED FROM TIME TO TIME.

This is the 3rd of 3 trenches we installed (level) on the side of this customer’s hillside. We used a distribution box to evenly divide effluent water.
Here is the 1st of the 3 trenches. Notice the green grass of the old field on the right side. We don’t like the grass to be THAT green in the winter time.
