This job came to us from a competitor how learned about it from Honeybee.  It was a failed leach field; that was backing up into the home, possibly from a water softener that went bad.  The owners existing concrete tank, a 1250 gallon appear to be in good shape so it remained in the system. We added a 500 gallon pump tank and 4000 square feet of field in 20 100′ trenches.

One day 1 we excavated for the pump tank to be installed approx 10′ after the tank. We added 3.5 feet of risers to come to grade.

We then trenched the field.  20, 8″ wide trenches, 2′ apart and 100 feet long.   We had to stair-step 1 of the system fields to remain under 30″ deep.  We specialize in trenched systems.

 

While they may not look it in the pic, the 4 valves are completely level for even effluent distribution.

 

After passing Engineer and County inspections, we are able to backfill system.

HERE IS A SEPTIC TANK AND LEACH FIELD REPLACEMENT FOR A HOUSE IN FRANKTOWN COLORADO.  TANK WENT FROM 1,000 GALLON TO 1,530 GALLON PLASTIC TANK AND THE FIELD (FAILED) WHEN FROM TRADITIONAL GRAVEL PIT TO INFILTRATORS.  HOUSE IS TO BE SOLD THE FOLLOWING WEEK SO WE HAD TO HURRY!

After we pumped and crushed the existing tank, we dug the hole for the new Poly Tank.  The septic line came out of the home under the footer, so it was deep.  There are 36″ of risers on top!  Here is a pic installed.  Very sandy soil!

Next, we turned our focus to the field.  There were so many trees, and with the 5 bedroom home, we had to have 2 fields.  These where 12′ wide and 68 feet and 40 feet long.

Here, we are installing the Infiltrators.

Here is the 2nd field. Much shorter.  We were in tight quarters, with several large pine trees and a well 101′ feet away!

 

Passed TCHD inspection and backfilled.  Another successful installation from TBC Septic.

REPLACE THE SEPTIC TANK.  HERE IS A PUMP SYSTEM WHICH CALLED FOR A 1250 GALLON TANK.  WE UNGRADED TO 1530 GALLONS, FREE OF CHARGE.  WE INSTALLED A 500 GALLON PUMP TANK WITH A .75 HP PUMP.  FOR THE FIELD, WE TRENCH 32 LINES BY 100′ USING 4 VALVES.

This customer needed a new tank and field.  We started with pumping, then destroying the old tank.

Here we hooked the septic line, sink, and laundry lines, with all had separate lines.

 

We had to trench an electrical line for the pump and alarm float. This trench unfortunately went through the client’s front yard to the breaker box. =(
