THIS WAS A TANK REPLACEMENT THAT TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE. THE WATER WELL WAS WITHIN 50′ OF THE TANK SO WE HAS TO GET EXTREMELY CREATIVE. WE HAD TO DOUBLE CASE THE MAIN LINE AND WASHING MACHINE DRAIN LINE; WHICH CAME FROM THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE. NOT EVEN PICTURED IS THE 1000 GALLON POLY TANK WE INSTALLED.

Notice the double casing on both the mainline and the washing machine line. More double casing. It may not look impressive but it’s a pain. The County makes us do it when a drain line is within 50′ of a well.Clean-out, then double casing all the way to the tank.
THIS WAS A SIMPLE CONCRETE TANK REPLACEMENT. ONLY PROBLEM WAS SPACE. WE HAD TO DIG RIGHT IN THE CLIENTS BEAUTIFUL BACK YARD AND REMOVE HIS FENCE.

By code, we must crush the tank, including walls and bottom, and bury the tank where is sat. Here is a pic of that process, in progress.Miguel was an awesome employee. We miss him and hope he is doing well.We had to install a clean-out before two 45 degree bends that were less than 10′ apart.
THIS WAS A TANK THAT WAS INSTALLED UNDER THE HOUSE (SUNROOM). WE NEEDED TO GET INTO THE TANK AND RUN THE MAINLINE THROUGH THE OLD TANK. WE THEN FILLED THE OLD TANK WITH CONCRETE.

The leach field in this system has nasty black goo in the line. Not good.We installed the new tank (see tank on the left). Here we are connecting to the leach field.
THIS WAS A TANK REPLACEMENT ON AN EXTREMELY DEEP TANK. TODAY’S CODE DOES NOT ALLOW FOR A TANK TO BE DEEPER THAN 8′ FOR A NEW INSTALLATION. THIS HOMEOWNER WAS GRANDFATHERED IN, BUT DID NOT WANT TO BEAR THE EXPENSE OF THE SPECIAL ‘DEEP’ TANK. WE DECIDED TO MOVE THE TANK DOWN THE HILL, ABOUT 120′ WHERE A TRADITIONAL TANK COULD BE INSTALLED.

Step 1 was to crush the tank. Not very easy being 8′ deep. We then had to locate the inlet and outlet lines connect them using a repair coupler. Code calls for a pre-tank clean-out every 100′ so this was a perfect location.Moved about 80+ feet down the hill and located the mainline. Fortunately we where at 4′ deep!We dug and installed the concrete tank, and glued the sweeping T.We added the tall risers and reconnected to the leach field…had the inspection and then back-filled.
THIS WAS TIGHT QUARTERS! WE ADDED A 500 GALLON PUMP TANK, WITH GRINDER PUMP, TO PUMP UP TO THE ELIZABETH CO SEWER SYSTEM. TANK WAS INSTALLED BETWEEN THE HOMEOWNERS DECK AND STAIRS TO THE STREET!

4 feet of rises on this small 500 gallon Infiltrator tank! That’s as deep as we can go!Tank after being backfilled. Very tight job!

HERE IS A SEPTIC TANK REPLACEMENT FOR A HOUSE IN PARKER CO. TANK WENT FROM 1,000 GALLON TO 1530 GALLON PLASTIC TANK. HOUSE IS TO BE SOLD THE FOLLOWING WEEK SO WE HAD TO HURRY!

1st, by code, we pump the old tank.
Then we crush it, per code.
Crush crush crush.
So, due to trees on this mature lot we had to move the septic line. We dug under the footer and out the South side of the home. Here is a pic of the new line with new clean-out.
Here we trenched for the new septic line. Those are several sprinkler lines, and yes, we repaired them.
Here is the installed tank… not back-filled and no risers yet…
Here we added risers, bedded, and connected to the existing leach field.
Finally, we passed Tri-County inspection and back-filled.

Not the greatest picture, but here we are crushing the old concrete tank; after it had been pumped of course.
Here we are digging the new hole; right next to the old tank. Hole had to be 7′ deep, by 15′ Long, and 6′ wide.
Here is where we spliced into the original septic line. You can see the old line cut, and a new line connected with a 45 degree coupling. All pipe is SDR35.
Tank is installed, level! 18″ risers where installed, with inlet and outlet T’s.
Lastly, here is the outlet pipe re-connecting to the original drain field.
